Our Story...

We believe the best clothes already have a story. We’re just giving them another chapter.

VonVie is a Texas-based fashion brand creating one-of-one clothing from thrifted and secondhand menswear. Each piece is found, reimagined and reworked by hand in the Dallas–Fort Worth area into something entirely new.

Founded by longtime friends and fashion industry veterans Jenn Hill and Nerissa Von Helpenstill, VonVie grew from a shared love of great clothes, thrifting and the idea that getting dressed should still be fun. "After decades spent working in fashion, we wanted to approach clothing differently: start with what already exists and use creativity and thoughtful design to make it desirable again."

Our signature shirting begins with thrifted men’s button-downs, polos, blazers and other found pieces that we deconstruct, crop, cinch, tie and transform into our collection of recognizable VonVie silhouettes. Because we work with existing garments rather than rolls of new fabric, the original shirt helps dictate the final piece. No two are exactly alike.

We design with flexibility in mind. Many of our silhouettes feature adjustable ties, relaxed proportions and our signature Flex Fit, allowing a single piece to work across a range of body types and be styled in completely different ways.

Our name, VonVie, brings together von, meaning “of,” and vie, meaning “life.”
